22 Life Lessons I Learned by Age 22

  1. Nothing can heal you – except time
  2. Love – it’ll be heaven when you’re in, becomes hell when you come out of it.
  3. You never know the value of what you’ve till you lose it
  4. When you’re in a relationship – don’t lie, don’t make promises you can’t keep. Build genuine relationships with others, don’t fake.
  5. Never act as if you’re a master at something
  6. Be kind to your mom, dad, cat, friends, relatives and everyone else if you want to leave a legacy after you die
  7. Eat the frogs first  (do the distasteful things first)
  8. Show genuine interest in helping others. You never know who’ll help you in the  long run.
  9. Be selfish. There’s nothing wrong in being selfish. But show some mercy when others are in trouble :)
  10. If you want to be successful at anything you wish; don’t run after women!
  11. Eat while you eat, sleep while sleep. Just enjoy the moment
  12. Sometimes a break from your routine is the very thing you need
  13. Derek Halpern from SocialTriggers will change the course of blogging game by next few years! Follow & implement his strategies – they’re unique and I’m sure you won’t regret after reading his content. I’ll be more often talking about him soon on this blog.
  14. Prioritization is the key to success (everyone has the same time, only prioritization can make a person PM – Prime Minister or PM – Postmen)
  15. What you read is what you create
  16. Success includes your family too (read it again – there’s so much meaning in it)
  17. When you don’t have patience – you’ve NOTHING (this is one of the costliest lessons for me – I’ve wasted approx. $8,000 just to learn this lesson – Have patience buddy, don’t rush)
  18. Never criticize anyone, instead, stay calm
  19.  All things are difficult before they are easy.  It’s not about falling, it’s about getting back up.
  20. Maturity is not when we start speaking about big things, it’s when we start understanding the small things.
  21. If you want to become a great writer; do 2 things: read more, write more

    Stellar post bro,

    Ehsan U.

  6. Hi, Rahul! I’d like to add something regarding lesson #17: patience goes hand in hand with calm. Patience + vexation doesn’t solve the problem. So if someone annoys you, be patient and write things down, before talking to that person. After finishing writing, read it again and throw it away. By that time you’ll have patience + calm, which will solve the problem :)

  7. That’s an interesting post you somehow make readers to stick to ur post:) appreciate ur skills buddy:)

Since u have mentioned I Wud like to invite you to my blog n wish to know ur feedback:)

      • Your blog is missing a “tagline” (we call it as elevator pitch).

When someone lands on your blog for the first time, what would be their reaction?

“Indian food and more…” is good.

“Learn how to cook Indian food with Siri..” sounds great! (you are being more specific here, giving a personal touch by using your name instantly creates a bond) or you can use any other phrases that are more specific about your site. But be clear and concise.

Must: Get Google authorship for your blog (it displays your pic in the search results, online readers generally prefer clicking on the links which have a “personal tone”).. use this tutorial, it’s easy (http://www.lifeandfever.com/2012/07/blogger-google-authorship.html)

Optional: Try to migrate from blogger to WordPress (if you want a professional touch)

Let me know if you have any more questions :)

  8. Thanks Rahul hunk I need sometime to understand what you mean..will get back to u again:)

    Thanks a lot boy!
